The life of composer Luigi Nono (1924 – 1990) is the story of a passionate fighter for a better world and a seeker – and not just of new sound possibilities.
The portrait film ‘Luigi Nono – the sound of utopia’ (written and directed by Thomas von Steinaecker) traces the lifelines of Nono’s biography. And allows us to immerse ourselves in a work that seems complicated and yet so human.
The film will celebrate its TV premiere on ARTE on Sunday, 15 September at 23:15.
