EPK Kit Armstrong

Kit Armstrong is one of the most promising new Bach interpreters. Alfred Brendel, always reluctant to do any teaching took him as a student. The reason: “He is the greatest musical talent I have ever encountered in my life.”

Kit Armstrong is barely 21 years old – he even appears to be younger – and already he impresses the classic world with his first CD recording on Sony. Bach with a never before heard approach. The Bach choral transcriptions are by Kit Armstrong. He is not only a pianist but also composer since the early age of four.

The 3 minute video shows Kit Armstrong during the recording for Sony in the legendary Jesus Christ Church in Berlin-Dahlem. It is the same church in which Wilhelm Furtwängler already was recording with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra.
