Vor seiner Produzentenlaufbahn promovierte er als Kollegiat der Deutschen Forschungsgemeinschaft zu deutsch-französischem Kulturtransfer und volontierte am Deutschen Historischen Museum. Er ist stark in der Musikszene verankert und hat hier über Jahre Akzente gesetzt.
