Watch our new musical format on Arte “The Session” on Sunday (14.01.). For the pilot series we have a go at Mozart. And at this occasion quite surprising details are presented, unveiled not only at table but rather on the bar counter of the charming Berlin “Säälchen” venue.
Three musical friends meet: Anna Prohaska (soprano), Andreas Ottensamer (clarinet) and Caspar Frantz (piano) discuss diverse Mozart issues and perform at top level together with the Kammerakademie Potsdam. Apart from the great hits and well-known arias the Session aims at also discovering the less known Mozart pieces such as the rarely performed concert aria for soprano, piano and orchestra where the artists “take a very deep look into Mozart’s soul.”
