Construction sins spoil our living space, especially when their sheer size dominates the surroundings: Towers that reach into space, megastructures made of steel and concrete, too huge, too massive, too breakneck – and yet spectacular and attractive! From the Tower of Babel and the Eiffel Tower in Paris to the ‘Colossus of Prora’, the longest building in the world, the film explores the excesses of architectural megalomania in an entertaining and enlightening way that makes us shudder as much as it fascinates us.
