Real life has always the best stories to be told. Some of these have first of all to be unearthed. Everyday occurrences or major events, long ago or today – what all have in common: they are the stories that move us. We love music and art, we are excited about new scientific research and we are telling stories from all periods. No media or format is unfamiliar to us. The “3B-Produktion – Büro für Bewegtes Bild“ was founded in June 2013 by Bernhard von Hülsen and Maria Willer.
Culture, history and sciences, those are the subject-matters we are passionate about. We produce documentaries with an increasing interest for cross-media opportunities in our storytelling.
We are producing for German Public Television as well as for the international market. Be it a TV broadcaster, a record label
or an artist himself as customer: form follows content, that is
our aim.
For each new production we pick from a pool of freelancer the most powerful team. Further we have a reliable basis, such as our production manager Mária Géczi and our production assistent Franzi Henkel.

Before founding the “3B- Produktion GmbH” Bernhard von Hülsen has worked for almoast 10 years as executive producer for documentaries, talk shows, magazines and online formats. Formerly Bernhard von Hülsen has been working for the “German Historical Museum”, researching with the “Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft” and received a PhD in history.
is music journalist and was formerly, before founding the “3B-Produktion GmbH”, editor and presenter at the radio broadcaster “Klassik Radio” since 2003. Apart from her journalistic activities she has founded the “Musikkindergarten Hamburg”. Before working for the radio she was trainee as print journalist. In this way Maria Willer’s train of medial thinking spreads from the reader to the listener as well as to a film audience. Important for her is that stories reach out to human beings – whichever media is used.
Budapest - Bergen - Berlin. Three cities that I have lived and worked in before, and all of them begin with the letter „B“. It seems only fitting that after a stint in the fields of journalism and marketing, my career path has taken me to 3B-Produktion. With my love for classical music and my attention to detail, I have been a part of the team since November 2019.
