Marina Abramović and The Art of Listening

Perseverance and stamina – these are the two cornerstones of Marina Abramović’s work. The world-famous performance artist uses the exercises she developed herself to prepare for her long-term performance work. “If you don’t go back to simplicity, we are lost,” is her appeal. Now, for the first time, the relentless artist applies her method to the audience of a classical concert. For over a week Abramović prepares 2,000 people in special workshops for the final concert in the Alte Oper Frankfurt. So that the audience and listeners can really perceive art again.
