In search of the enigmatic paintings by Renaissance painter Piero della Francesca, the film takes viewers through the idyllic villages of Tuscany and Umbria. We approach the hidden stories behind the iconic works at the places where they were created. In this way, the “drama behind the canvas” transports its viewers into the timeless beauty of the Italian province and brings the magic of the Quattrocento to life.
