The capital city debut of young conductor Joana Mallwitz on the podium of the Konzerthausorchester Berlin took place on November 28, 2020. The program included Franz Schubert’s last work, “The Great”, his Symphony in C major D 944, which already breathes the spirit of Romanticism.
Joana Mallwitz shares the Konzerthaus Berlin’s desire to bring classical music to audiences through different formats and channels. Under the title “ Listen in!”, she has personally designed the concert introduction and, together with the musicians of the Konzerthausorchester, presents exciting details and grand lines of Schubert’s last symphony.
