Raphael – A Mortal God

The painter Raffaello Santi dies on Good Friday in 1520, aged 37. The city of Rome is shocked. It is the beginning of the myth of Raphael that continues to glorify the painter to this day. What lies behind this myth? We follow the path of the genius artist, starting with his most famous painting: the “Sistine Madonna”.
